Price
The rental price of the apartments is as follows:
For our 3 bedroom apartments the price is from €72 / €83
per person per week from September 2008 to May 2009. At Thomond
every student has their own bedroom, bathroom and study area.
- Rent per person for semester 1 is €1,584/€1,826 depending
on type of room
from 1st of September 08 to 31st of January 09
- Rent per person for semester 2 €1,224/€1,411 depending
on type of room
from 1st of February 09 to 29th of May 09
Cancellations
- Any cancellations up to the 24th August will be subject to an
administration charge €75.
- Any cancellations AFTER the 24th August will result in the complete
loss of deposit and the reallocation of the room to another student

Deposit
- The deposit is €290, payable as soon as possible. The deposit
is refunded in full at the end of the year unless there are deductions
for damages.

Shuttle Bus
- No need to worry about the weather. Get to College in dry clothes
! Avail of our shuttle bus service to and from L.I.T. Avail of
transport the short distance to and from L.I.T. at the times that
you need it

ESB Provision
- Electricity statement changes to Students provide for electricity
the amount of €340 for the academic year ,this will cover
the costs in almost all cases. The ESB meters will be read each
month to monitor usage, bills are added up during the year for
each apartment to ensure that abuse of the system does not occur,
any overuse will be billed equally to the residents of the offending
apartment.

Direct Dial Card Phone System
- Direct dial card phone system in each apartment giving free
telephone calls to your friends in Thomond Village and a cheap
method of keeping in touch with family and friends at home and
abroad. As the phone is operated using low cost prepaid phone
cards there is no fear of you or others running up a big bill.

Facilities in Each Apartment
- Each apartment comes fully furnished with cutlery, plates, cups,
pillows etc. Bed linen can be supplied for a small additional
charge. 3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms. Each room has an individual
study space with a broadband connection available to LIT and the
Internet giving complete access to email, messaging, world wide
web etc.

Facilities in the Complex
- There are full laundry facilities on-site. There are also full
time maintenance personel and management office so that any household
maintenance problems can be dealt with in an efficient manner.
There is a shop on-site that sells the basics such as stationery,
bread, milk and frozen foods etc. There are student common areas
that are furnished with vending machines and study desks computers
etc.

Recreation Areas
- We have large comfortable common rooms, one equipped with a
large screen TV etc., another with pool tables etc., for when
you need to chill out with friends.

Multi Channel TV
- Multi Channel TV service is available in every apartment.

Existing Infrastructure
- Thomond Village is conveniently located within walking distance
of shops, bars, hairdressers, chemists, doctor's and dentist's
surgeries, bus stop etc. The village is also fully equipped to
facilitate those with special needs.

Live With Friends
- We offer the opportunity for friends to share an apartment if
they choose. This facility is also offered via the online application
form.
